Hope to see this guy (or one of his friends) up close and personal in the morning... :fud:

Given your youth season track recorded, that one is in trouble.

Thanks guys!!!
I watched him go to roost last night with 5 hens. He never gobbled once in the tree this morning. All of a sudden he pitched down into the field behind us. A few yelps on the Metal Mouth and he gobbled and starting in to the dekes. Gotta love it when a plan come together... :icon_thumright:.
Congrats, nice gobbler.
Congrats. My daughter missed, but we had lots of birds near us. Fun morn

I bought a box of Mag Blends while I was down there to replace the LBs that I was shooting. I never pattered them before taking them out and just assumed that they would be good through the Indian Creek .675 choke. After missing, I shot one yesterday and found the pattern to be terrible at 30 yds!!! I was really dissapointed with them. AT 40 they would be very spotty. That KY was lucky this time.
nice job!
What gun are you shooting them through? Maybe choke down to .665. I shoot mag blends through my 11-87 with a hevi shot .662 choke and the patterns are great.
I kinda shocked they pattern terrible, I have found the slower moving straight shot patterned better for me.

POI is low, these were all aiming at the top of the head. Ordered some Williams Fire Sights to correct this.

Hevi has played with their loads so I do not think number will be what they were 4-5 years ago but for the 12 ga that you can buy in a store they are hard to beat. Surprised they did not shoot same POA as LBs. I usually sight in with cheap 6s and usually have very little or any adjustment when I shot the load I hunt.

I've tried the blends in a model 37 w ic .665 choke n they were good. Also tried them in a nova 20 w ic choke, think it was 555 or something. That gun shot really well w em too
My Browning BPS 3.5/ Pure Gold .670 combo shoots awesome with them. The only reason that I'm using the 835 is because the rib got smashed down on it last spring.
