Title: Turkey Cleaning
Post by: IssaquahBob on April 19, 2017, 03:54:26 PM
I like to pluck and dress out my wild turkeys. Just wondering if anyone has an easy way to clean out that gelatinous stuff around the craw? Sometimes I feel like I spend more time trying to get rid of all that slimy stuff than doing the entire rest of the bird.

I think I would just cut just enough skin off the breast to get rid of that stuff.

Using your fingers and a water hose with a spray nozzle with lots of water...you could try a tooth brush...
