Title: Flush choke tube patterns
Post by: countryboy478 on April 16, 2017, 09:01:45 AM
I would like to see what kinds of patterns people are getting with flush chokes. It doesn't matter if fixed choke or not. I just ordered me a Carlson's .680 for my Mossberg 835. Not looking to kill way out there just agood even pattern.

I just got that same choke for my 835 a couple of weeks ago from Midway USA on sale. Really liking this choke so far. Have only shot at 30 yards, so may not be a lot of help to you. Winchester XX high velocity 3" #5 averages around 175 in 10 inch circle. This choke and shell produces even coverage. Also shoots dead on with bead sight.

the 835 I have has a 680 flush mount trulock choke. I shoot long beard 3 1/2 #4's in it and have had 145 pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yds
