Title: Gobble report for NY?
Post by: turkaholic on April 14, 2017, 06:28:13 AM
Just wondering how the birds seem to doing in NY? I will be spending just about the whole month of May in the Cobbleskill area and look forward to getting up there. The birds in my home state seem to be really slow to get going this year and was wondering if it is the same up there?

Mr. at least in Catt Co and Chautauqua Co they are very vocal right now, but as you know they peak at different times and May 1st is still a ways off. Good luck when you come.

I have been scouting the last couple weeks and VERY slow around my area, I hunt in Fulton County and am pretty worried this year about possible winter kill. saw very little sign where it is normally tore up.
