Just want to thank Clark @ allaboutshooting I was shooting my 96 Remington 11-87 NWTF 25th Anniversary edition with a 21" barrel and last year I was shooting #6 shot harvested a nice long beard with it I though this year I could not find any #6 shot in 3" mags so I wanted to try #5 shot LB's well he said my patterns were 2 blowing with my chokelooked looked like crap. Well I sent a PM to Clark at allaboutshooting he called me and said try this choke mine was to tight of a choke so I don't have the funds to buy a bunch of chokes. He says he has a short barrel Remington and this choke works with LB's #5 shot I say ok I'll take one. So anyways I got it yeasterday and stuck it on. So today got to the range at 20 and 35 yards my Remington 11-87 put big holes with a nice wide pattern around it took 2 shots at 50 now lost the big holes but tight even big pattern not a space on one of ether shots no bird would escape its patten.
Another picture.
One more I clean the barrel as soon as I walk in the door the barrel is mirror shine just from cleaning it no pollishing it.
This gun can shoot.
The sight is a ghost ring sight from TruGlo universal and upgraded Shurshot stoke.
I also shot a lot of geese with this gun and some ducks with a Carlsons long range steel choke and Kent steel shot. I had this whole gun apart every once and awhile to clean it good just looking at it my eyes go
Yes he is he saved me from having to waste a bunch of money I don't have looking for the right choke as a bird is not walking away from this gun.
I appreciate the kind words. My best to all of you this season.
Thanks,
Clark
You got my gun shooting great patterns with the LB's #5 shot Clark those turkeys should be vary afraid this year.
