Congrats on a fine bird.
Althea is a gorgeous specimen. If you ever tire of her company I would be honored to get to know her better and would welcome her into my home with open arms.
What kind of ammo are you feeding to Althea?
Also, congrats on the bird.
You a Dead fan?
I told Althea I was feeling lost
Lacking in some direction
Althea told me upon scrutiny
That my back might need protection
fine looking gun,,,,,,,,,,,,, nice gobbler too..........
Very nice gun. Great bird too
Now that's the coolest thing I've seen in a while..congrats and I'd like to know what ammo Althea is shooting.
I couldn't bring myself to drag a gun that nice into the woods. Congrats though. It's a fine looking gun for sure.
Very cool
WELL THE GOBBLER HAS MY RESPECT , BUT ,
THAT GUN JUST ROCKS ............
That's a nice tom. That's a classy old dame right there that took him down! Glad to see her get out and strut her stuff. :icon_thumright:
Congrats on the bird. Very nice Althea... :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:
Althea is a fine looking lady indeed, congrats on the OG as well.
Great old gun and nice bird to, thanks for sharing.
She won't be going anywhere anytime soon :)
Though I have built some true thumper Gobbler rigs with custom chokes, short tubes and pistol grips running full pattern Heavyweights etc nothing has given me greater pleasure than carrying her back to where she belongs. And yes to the Dead just seemed a fitting name for her in many ways.
Fiochi 2-3/4 #6s was the fodder for this public land bird taken in the very forest from which most of todays Eastern Wild Turkeys originated during the restocking efforts.
Congrats! Good looking gun
"I told Althea I was feeling lost, lacking in some direction..."
