Althea at 102 years old is still earning her keep along side her buddy Pearl, a 3" Titanium over Bocate John Sinclair.

Althea is a gorgeous specimen.  If you ever tire of her company I would be honored to get to know her better and would welcome her into my home with open arms.

What kind of ammo are you feeding to Althea?

Also, congrats on the bird.

You a Dead fan?

I told Althea I was feeling lost
Lacking in some direction
Althea told me upon scrutiny
That my back might need protection

Now that's the coolest thing I've seen in a while..congrats and I'd like to know what ammo Althea is shooting.

I couldn't bring myself to drag a gun that nice into the woods. Congrats though. It's a fine looking gun for sure.

She won't be going anywhere anytime soon :)

Though I have built some true thumper Gobbler rigs with custom chokes, short tubes and pistol grips running full pattern Heavyweights etc nothing has given me greater pleasure than carrying her back to where she belongs.  And yes to the Dead just seemed a fitting name for her in many ways.

Fiochi 2-3/4 #6s was the fodder for this public land bird taken in the very forest from which most of todays Eastern Wild Turkeys originated during the restocking efforts.
