I took this gobbler this morning in the Ozark Mountains. I thought he had four beards but when I got him home there was a 5th beard. They are 9 1/2. 7 1/2, 6 1/2, 6 1/2, and 1 1/2 inches long. He had 1 inch spurs and only weighed 18 1/2 lbs.

No. Great bird but I have too many mounted now.
Congratulations on a might fine gobbler! Awesome.
Way to go. I was up on Big Piney Monday but they weren't doing much. Only heard one and nearly had him in but ......
Really nice bird! Congrats
AWESOME!!! :z-guntootsmiley:
That's a mighty fine gobbler! I've killed a few double beards but still wishing and hoping for a triple or more!
Fine bird Ricky. What did you call him in with and congrats
Jody--- I set up this morning about 30 minutes before it started to get light. I had been there about 20 minutes and three gobblers started gobbling about 75 yards away. I could see them in the trees. I made some soft tree yelps and soft clucks and purrs with my Roger Parks Tree Talker. They all three gobbled and I laid the call down. In about 10 minutes I scratched the leaves and this gobbler landed in my lap. I have killed 4 or 5 just like this before with nothing but the Parks Tree Talker.
Congrats, that's a special bird for sure. :icon_thumright:
Nice gobbler, congrats!

Great bird Rickey. Glad to see you out chasing them longbeards again.
Awesome bird....some well defined beards there!!
Thats a good one. Just remember Where he came from, that multiple beard gene is usually dominant. There should be more . congratulations.
