I got the itch really bad right now. I had an emergency water leak in the plumbing of my house yesterday. I skipped classes for college yesterday and hauled butt over to Helena to fix the leak. After all was said and done and she was fixed I began my journey back to bozeman to study for an exam. It was just before dark and wouldn't you know, my 6 local turkeys were out walking around at my cabin. I stopped and just started drooling as the big tom is in full strut and has about a 10" beard. My house is a draw only area and wouldn't you know, I didn't draw. I waited for a good 15 mins until they cleared my road and made it towards their roost. I told myself, that's it I'm goin turkey huntin this weekend despite the 2 exams I have on Monday, gonna head east and see how I do. How is everyone else doing? Anyone getting into birds? I can't sleep at night, I keep on hearing gobblers in my dreams and can't wait for this weekend! :OGani: :drool:
