I recently purchased a Remington 870 20ga with a 21" barrel and a hevi 13 choke .573". I tried it out the other day shooting magblends and federal heavyweight #7 at 40yds. The magblends were throwing 135 in the 10" and the heavyweight were 145 in the 10". Anyone else running this setup and if so are you getting similar results?
:icon_thumright:, those sound like very respectable number's from both shell's. i'd stop looking and start hunting. just my opinion.
My sons gun 870 20g/ Turkey choke that comes in the gun..shoots the HW 7's with about the same results. 140's-150's. Plenty tight enough for him and a definite 40yd gun.
