Darn you Ohio opening date! April 24th seems like forever away! I just want to chase some gobblers, is that too much to ask? Who else is still waiting? :z-guntootsmiley:
The last of five seasons in Southern Illinois comes in on April 27th, almost as your's is just beginning. Turkeys are responding well to calling, most of my buddies tagged out for the first season, and now are awaiting their next drawn season. My next opportunity comes in this Friday and I'll be taking a black powder double barrel.

It's April 15 here in E. Texas. Yep, way down here, mid April every year. They don't want us killing many birds. I don't see many hens when I'm hunting.
April 19, WI, one more week! can hunt till darn near june which I think is crazy
I don't want to hear it from you guys my season dose not open till April 28 th here in PA.

Virginia opened last weekend and West Virginia will open next Monday. Youth hunt is this coming Saturday.
All these late dates would drive me insane. I got my 3 bird limit by April 1 in MS this year. Headed north this weekend.
May 1st for us New Yorkers!!!
I feel for ya NY'ers.
May 1 here in VT... Lots of birds this year, and seeing them strutting around all over the place is driving me nuts!
our season is over in the south zone Florida started on March 4, heading up to our camp in PA for turkey season starts April 29,good luck guys.
Drew the last week in home state of DE, 04/29. PA starts 04/29. Thankfully, I'm headed to Kansas next week.
Still waiting here too, 4-29. We already had some warm weather, and the vegetation is coming on strong and will more than likely be full by the start. I realize they start our Season based on nesting hens, which I'm guessing most others States do also? So I can understand South States starting before North, but what kills me is looking at some South harvest pics that might of started 3-4 weeks ago and their vegetation bloom at the time is really not that different compared to ours at the same timeframe, which makes one wonder at times here?
i'm in the northeastern corner of ohio,, new this year, we start 1 week later than the rest of the state. only 4 counties that start this later,,,,,,,,,,,,
