Title: Choke for Fed HVYWT 7 INV +
Post by: hawk on April 10, 2017, 09:47:25 AM
What is a good choke for 20 gauge Inv + and Fed HVYWT 7's. I have a Carlsons Heavy Shot .581 to try but would like to have another one.

The tightest HW7 patterns I've ever seen were from a cheap Primos TW .570 in a 24" Inv + bbl.  Too tight to hunt with, but maybe your's will be a bit more open.

TL .585 and two different flush .585 chokes all did 140s in my Inv+ 20s.  All great hunting patterns.

I have a Carlson. 575 for the Browning invector plus  shot it at 30 and 40yds. 30 was amazing tight. Pattern 40 not so much
