Title: New Turkey Gun
Post by: RonnieL on April 09, 2017, 07:56:04 PM
Just received new Stoeger M3000 semi auto plan to use factory turkey choke provided for now. Any suggestions for what shells to use. And a better choke in the future.

Good luck with the factory turkey choke...it was the worse pattern I had seen out of a turkey gun. I did a little research and ended up with an Indian creek and am very happy with it. Another issue I had was the gun was shooting 6-8" high out of the box so I called Stoeger and was told that 6" high was normal and that I could send it back but I had to cover the shipping to and from so I opted out and put a Vortex venom red dot on it. I'm hoping to kill my first bird with it this spring!
