Title: Lead vs Hevishot

I have a new stoeger m3500 and just got the pure gold 670 and all i had laying around were some supreme 3 1'2 6 shot, and the pattern didnt impress me any, shot no better than my stock turkey choke, I have some hevi 13  3 1'2 7 shot coming i sure hope it does btr. and a quick shot :happy0064: :happy0064: :happy0064:

I think you'll find your pattern will improve with the Hevi-13 7's.

wouldn't hurt to make sure your barrel is cleaned also. I'm sure your pattern will be better with H-13, problem is they change stuff every year so if you like the pattern you better buy as much as you can afford and stock pile it.

My best pattern is 110 with lead and 256 with Hevi 13.

Your count at 40 yards should at least double if you're into counting holes in 10" circles.  I went from low 100's with #6 lead to 280's and 290's with the Hevi #7's.
