Title: No love for Cody calls?
Post by: Dirtybird552 on April 04, 2017, 12:54:36 PM
Why is it that I never hear anyone talking about any of the Cody pot calls on here?

Ever since  MK M GOBL said they were trash, nobody wants them anymore...

:TooFunny:

I kid! Just type "Cody" in the search box. Lots of talk...

I got my first cody pot call a month ago. I got the drop dead woodsman slate and im really impressed with it.Sweet traditional sounding slate that plays super consistent all the way around the call. It'll be the first call out of my vest on the youth hunt with my nephew.

Lot of calls that will get turkeys killed. Cody makes some of them.

I just got my first Cody a couple of weeks ago. I traded up for a Cody world class. It's a great sounding call but you don't hear much chatter about it.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170405/984cc142fc59beaafa7cc776bdd8d25a.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170405/9f3510c716cbb3d9ebcdc4a886f97e08.jpg)

Well Mine have been in my vest for Years and will continue to be the first one the Turkey I'm hunting Hears.
Watch the Classifieds , when someone finds a call they like real well they tend to keep it.   :icon_thumright:

Go over to the pot call section and check out my post last week.   Bill gave us a
Prototype from 1981 to auction at our banquet.   Went for $1090.00.

I have run a world class slate. It's a great call. Not $175 great. That's why I don't have one.

I have had a few Cody calls and for me the Cody II slate is hard to beat for any price with the right striker.
