Awesome weekend! Both of my boys laid the hammer down on some fine birds! My oldest boy was hunting with my brother opening morning and he killed a great bird. 21lb, 10" beard, 1-5/16 and 1-1/4" spurs. The boys were able to pull off a double yesterday morning. We never heard a single gobble on the roost. At about 8am, a jake gobbled not 30 yards from the blind. Then the rest of the gang showed up. Every decoy we had was getting bred. It was a crazy situation there for a few minutes. Both of their birds were shot off of a decoys back. One was a 16lb Jake and the other was a 23lb, 9.5" beard and 1-1/4 and 1-3/16 spurs. There were a lot of questions after that hunt! LOL!
