My younger daughter used to use my brothers youth ranger. The gun came w a fixed mod barrel. Shot heavy 7s great. I'd have used it.

ok because I want to use my Remington 1100 2 3/4 fixed modified choke but I really don't wanna dump a ton of money into shells that ill only shoot 2-3 out of each box they get pricey.

Shoot Fed Heavy Weight 7's. They come with a flight control wad that shoots better out of open chokes than any other shell I have seen.

I am going to try the longbeards thru a modified choke and see how they do to about 35 yds, once it greens up in the woods thats really about all you need.

Tried them out of a fixed modified 12 ga. The results were anything but impressive. Ymmv.
