Title: Gooserbat diaphragm question?
Post by: Coop1082 on March 28, 2017, 09:04:25 PM
Going to give these guys a shot. I've seen nothing but great reviews on here about them. I've been pretty well settled with a Tom Teasers butt naked hen and his hillbilly hen, but I'm always venturing out especially with diaphragms. That being said how does the tape fit in comparison to Tommy's if anybody has ever ran both? Woodhaven also fits me well for comparison, and if you guys had a choice which Gooserbats would you run? I can run just about any cut on a mouth call given time to mess around with it, but I'm primarily a right center of air caller. Looking hard at the heckler and double bit but any other opinions would be great!

Both just hit the cart! Looking really forward to running these calls. The tom teasers butt naked hen has been a full blown killer for me, but with the praise Gooserbat gets on here I can't help myself from giving them a run!

Looking on the website I didn't see any youth ones. Do you guys recommend any for youth or smaller pallets??

Our tape is cut a little bit narrower than most calls, Sam designed his own die for his tape cutter.  Currently, all of our production calls are standard sized, but he will make youth framed calls and has 3 or for "recipes" that are really good in the smaller frame. The tape size will still be the same.  You'll need to give Sam a call or shoot him an email to order youth frame calls.
