Picked up a Yingling aluminum pot and couple of Hooks mouth calls last week. Really liking the Yingling. Nice range on this call. Soft purrs and yelps or nasty aggressive cuts and loud yelps. Not a big fan of mouth calls only because I can't use one worth a crap. The Heartthrob changed that! In two days I've managed to learn how to talk some pretty sweet turkey if I do say so myself.
Today they got it done. This bird hung up at about 50 yards or so. He was just out of sight where a plantation pines meets hardwoods. I hit him with both calls back and forth and he would respond but never committ. After an hour of this I made my mind up to kill him or run him off! Gave him several series of cuts and yelps from both calls and sat the down. Few minutes later I heard my favorite sound. Pttt-duummmm. He was close but still couldn't see him. This went on for another 10 minutes or so before I finally saw him. He took one slow step at a time drumming the entire time. Clucked to him at around 25 yards and literally decapitated him with 2oz of TSS.

No sir. It would be an even more effective little call if it were. Being able to flip it and run a different sound would be handy.
