:z-guntootsmiley: When starting out patterning your turkey rig, shoot at least a 3' x 3' blank paper.... (I personally use 4' x 4') This will not only show you holes you may or may not have in your pattern but also the difference in POI compared to POA!!!!! Also it WILL show you the fact that not all chokes are created equally....shells as well. Hope this tip helps. Shoot at maximum distance, draw a 10" circle around the most dense portion of pattern then back up in increments of 5 yds. When you stop puttin 100 pellets in that 10" circle you have essentially reached your maximum killing patterm. Hope this helps!!!!
Agreed, I have seen many guys slap up a shoot n c type target and think there pattern is no good, well you actually just missed the target with the bulk of your pattern!!!
You mean to tell me.... I can't put up a paper pie plate like I did way back when. :funnyturkey:
