Title: Newer Hevi 3" #7 ?
Post by: Fullfan on April 10, 2011, 09:35:57 AM
Just wondering if EM changed the wad in the 3" shells like the 3 1/2?  Has anyone shot the newer Lot# 3" #7, and if so what kind of numbers did you get?

Planning on buying several more boxes on the 3" #7, after I saw what it did to both of my Tn birds.

Thanks

I have also asked this question and so far it seems like everyone here shoots the 3,5" shells lol

My 3 inch Hevi 7's are consistently around 70 pellets lower than last year's batch.  Lot #200806

I have not seen any difference in the shells. I've shot the #7 shot in 3" that were produced last year and the 3" in #7 shot produced this year and the patterns with both have been excellent. I posted one of those here just a few days ago.

Thanks,
Clark
