Hope I am sharing this in the right place as I am new to this forum. I was able to get acces to some awesome south ga farm land for a weekend of hunting with my 10 year old nephew. He was able to take a Jake last year on youth weekend, but we agreed that this year he would only take a long beard. After several setups, and passing on jakes twice, he took his first mature bird. A group of three strutters put on a show that neither of us will ever forget. After about an hour of strutting just out of range, these birds finally came to within range. I am so proud of him and so thankful to God for the blessing of this opportunity with Sam.
top notch congrats to you both
