Title: Illinois 2017
Post by: ilbucksndux on March 19, 2017, 09:36:44 AM
I have been going out early the last week or so and listening. Seems to be hit and miss. Some mornings they are gobbling like crazy on the roost and others are silent. I have not heard one make a sound after fly down.

Was out in Pike and Brown county all week, birds still in winter flocks for the most part, heard a few gobble during the day and afternoon on the nice days but primarily roost gobbling. Had one loudmouth hammering at 8 that would have been fun to play with!!!
