Post by: TheSportsman on March 06, 2017, 11:13:51 PM
What would you guys expect from a 24" browning gold 3.5 nwtf shooting a kicks. 680?? I've got 3.5 magblends and 3.5 hevi 13 2 1\4oz 6s. I've got a PG .670 THATS VERY tight at 40 so I wanted to open it up to a .680... What would you guys expect?

I would go with the .680 Kicks with the MagBlend. I've shot the MagBlend out of a kicks choke before and they had a great pattern. There's a lot of shot in that 3.5 and will flat level a turkey. I would stick with the 6s in the PG though.

Winchester shells shoot the best out of all of my Kicks chokes. Standard lead loads and Longbeards as well.

with the .680 - I'd be thinking around 185-195 with the straight 6's and about the same from the MB's

That's what I'm looking for with a good 20" coverage
