Post by: Strutr on March 04, 2017, 10:22:22 AM
Looks like there's going to be a run on dead cat decoys.   ;)

I'm a git me one!
Funny video!
I read about a guy who used a soccer ball painted blaze orange. The guy that was writing about him claimed he was an old school guy who killed turkeys regularly when other guys weren't even seeing them. The old school guy finally relented on the secret and took him out to confirm that's what he did...He claimed it worked...   :fud: :OGani:

"Soccer ball painted blaze orange"?  Do you suppose that it works any better than the dead cat?  Hmmm, now just gotta decide which one is easiest to carry...  ;D

Years ago, a friend hunting in South Texas watched as about two dozen Rios came down a trail and upon reach an opening in the brush, made a circle like that.  He said they did three laps like the birds in the video and left single file on down the trail that had been on originally.
I didn't ask him if there was  dead cat in the middle of the opening.
