My 10 year old son, Luke, loves to turkey hunt. He has some trouble holding up his 12 gauge to get a good shot on a turkey. I came across a new product that I think you guys will like. I've come across something called the Raptor Adapter. I use a Caldwell fixed bipod, and the Raptor Adapter connects it to the barrel of my 12 gauge. Luke has gained much more stability and even shot his first turkey with it!
Luke has tried using a shooting stick to steady the shotgun but it is a huge hassle to carry both the shotgun and stick. Also, when we have to adjust the shooting stick after the turkey has moved, often times it either falls over making a loud noise or it takes too much time. We will definitely be taking the The Raptor Adapter out this fall.
If anyone you know has a tough time with stability, I would highly suggest this!!!! https://www.beyondthelakesoutdoors.com/collections/adapters/products/raptor-adapter
Really!?
Not certain what to say at this point.
Ain't that special :morning:

Do you sell this? Why not just give a smaller child a 20?

Must be a "pro staffer" :toothy12: :TooFunny:
I guess it's not a terrible idea but I'll stick with my HS Strut V-Pod.

It looks like a great product . You can detach it and carry it in your bat utility belt until needed. Its insane at the products people put out for hunting and people will buy them. You all laugh but some people will buy that crap ::)
You wanna buy an acorn nut scratcher? I've used em before n it's helped me kill my first deer. You should try it. It works!!!!!!!
Seems to me to be a bi-pod for a shotgun, but less expensive. If it instills confidence for someone, go for it.
There is not a problem with the concept, per se, however there are some obvious defects. I have killed a few from the prone position, in fact, I have been in a few situations where prone was the only option to avoid detection, but those situations only occur by chance, rarely by design. Further, one in the prone position has to adjust two factors rather quickly on a target as close as a turkey should be before pulling the trigger, windage and elevation. This device allows for neither. One is better served by practice holding his gun still and using a knee to both stabilize the gun and rest muscles for the moment of truth.
That's just embarrassing right there
It looks nice and all, but the award still goes to sliced bread.
