Eric and I were hunting on Tuesday and had 2 gobblers coming in on a string and a nasty front unleashed on us. The birds stopped and hunkered down in a field. Managed to get him close enough after the storm passed. Another classic public land Osceola smack down..... :you_rock:Thanks to Jimbob and Speckslayer

I've shot a few rain soaked gobblers - they ain't pretty. Thank goodness they dry out pretty fast.

One hell of a rain storm and one hell of a bird. That bird was defenitly the boss. He didn't want to leave those hens. Good job with that Kee Kee Dave to bring him in close enough. Glad to get to hunt with this year. Its been a heck of a year. I think I will try to hunt the point this weekend David. Maybe I will score on my last one. Congrats. Good luck in Nebraska. And wow the boys are getting big.
