Looking for a non-extended tube to use with my 24" barrel shooting Win LB 3X6's.
Thanks!

Just get the factory extra-full and go hunt.
My dad and I have killed a ton of birds with a mossberg 500 with the extra-full choke.

I think Extra Full is .690, and the "Turkey" model is .680.  Of course, those are the measurements on the Carlson's replacements.

The Mossberg  "X-Factor" has an e.d. of .670. It's inexpensive but a very good choke tube http://allaboutshooting.com/products/mossberg-12-gauge-500-535-930

Thanks,
Clark

Have you tried the factory full choke, the reason I ask is a good friend at work has a 500 with a 28" barrel, and last year we shot the LB 6's with 109 hits in 10 at 40yds. Now we only fired one round from a clean barrel, so it may shoot better with a dirty barrel, but that will still get the job done!

Thanks all for the responses! I have a Carlson's 680 coming and it looks like I'm buying a Mossy 670 as well...hope to do some patterning next week.  :camohat:
