Title: Virginia Turkey Hunters
Post by: 2much2loud on April 08, 2011, 03:41:25 AM
I am traveling to the George Washington Nat Forest to turkey hunt next week.  Can anyone give me a good place to start? I have tried to get maps from Nat. Parks and Virginia and have not recieved them yet.  Im not asking for your honey hole but just a good section to start on. Thanks for any help you can offer. Greg

Where abouts in the Forest are you heading? The Edinburg office has all the maps of the NF...but I'm not quite sure what hours they are open.

Go scouting tomorrow morning and drive till you see the full parking lots, that will give you an idea of where people think the birds are haha. If you pick a county im sure someone could give you some general help.
