I had one as a back up duck gun. Academy had it in a special for the black shadow model for like 27 bucks like 2 or 3 years ago . I just bought t because it was cheap. Shot 3-4 cases of steel through it and patterned win long beards and hevi 6 for the fun of it BC I had a .670 jelly head in those threads.  Had no real complaints. Every once in a while we would seem to short stroke it while wing shooting but I would buy again if I wanted it. A work kid wanted a gun so I sold him that one    To my knowledge, it's still going strong.

Some of them had issues with firing when the slide was pushed forward. I'm betting they've fixed the issue by now but prepare yourself in case they haven't.

Funny thing.......If your old enough to remember when they came on the scene, the 1300 and 1400 were thought of as junk, now the SXP, a 1300 Turkish made clone is thought of in high regard, how time changes perspective.

We have one in the family, great shooter, can't speak of the long term reliability just yet.
