Title: Georgia weather...
Post by: Vaturkeyhntr on February 17, 2017, 12:24:44 PM
Me and a buddy are heading down to Georgia for the opening weekend and are gonna be hunting the Hinesville area, just wondering what the weather has been like down that way.  The land we hunt is great when there isn't a bunch of rain before the season because the property will flood.

Could be hot, could be freezing. If you don't like it, just wait a little. It'll change.

Today it was 70.  Last year opening weekend was the best and it went down hill from there.  Too much warm weather early in February.

Yea we usually hunt the second week down there but can't due to work this year.  We are hunting opening day til Monday.  We had one of the roughest season here in VA last year with birds that just wouldn't gobble.
