I'm ready to blast some turkeys. :OGturkeyhead:
Gonna be some heads flopping for

Can't wait
Yep, can't wait. I had been doing pretty good until about 2-3 weeks ago when we got the unseasonably warm weather. Since then time has moved slower and slower.
counting down as well!
I told the boss I would be using vacation days for the 15th & 16th !!!
:turkey2: cant wait for March 15
Shhhhhhhh.
I'm jealous, I don't think Missouri's season is gonna get here
Lucky guys our season is end of April.
Almost here, I've been squirrel huntin looking for sign. Haven't found any birds yet
No birds in MS, not worth hunting.. :OGani:
They were burning it up pretty good this am.
Went to my lease over the weekend and heard 9 different birds gobbling hard on the limb. Wont be long now. :blob10:
Any of you hunt Rankin or Madison counties?
They are already really vocal for sure.
I hunt Jefferson and Franklin.
I mostly hunt Noxubee county on the Tombigbee side and some in Lowndes.
Went again this morning to listen. It's was really foggy but I heard at least four different birds. Come on 15th!
nothing in southern simpson this morning and it was such a beautiful morning
Snow I hunt both Madison and Rankin co. But I have not been out to listen yet, rabbit hunted Madison last weekend saw a lot of sign.
Yep. Seeing plenty of sign. Hearing several birds already too. Have a place on Pearl river I hope to scout next weekend. Hoping for a good season!
Lowndes county and pickens county al. I have come to the conclusion that I can not be allowed in the woods before turkey season. I just dont trust myself that much. More power to ya'll that can I just think if i hear them I gonna try to find a way to kill it.

Yep. Hunted outside of Fayette back in early 90s. Great bowhunting! Wish I could find a QUALITY club in the area again. Definitely no shortage of turkeys there.
I found out today I was drawn for a 2 day Upper Sardis hunt.
I hunt in Copiah County. Some in Claiborne too.
I did as well. What dates did you get if you don't mind me asking? I was drawn for two others as well.

I hunt one lease about 5 miles north of Fayette and my other lease is on Jefferson / Franklin line. The one north of fayette is 250 acres with 2 of us bowhunt only. I turkey hunt and my partner does not. My other lease is 1500 acres with 5 of us turkey hunting. Both places have birds and is pretty hardwood.

I hunt just across the river at Pickensville on the Ms side. We aren't too far from each other.
