They may be nuts but the value will only increase as the numbers dwindle and years go up. If you want one, get it now. It's like the Ruger paddle stocked guns. Can't seem to find one for under $700 these days and it was a $400 gun in its days of production. Lots of them are selling for over $1k. If you want it, get it. You're not going to lose on it.

True, I saw a 870 with the short, RS barrel in Orig Bottomland sell for over 800 bucks one time on Gunbroker. That is the Elanor of the collection  :you_rock: :you_rock: :you_rock:

Mines a 98 Remington 11-87 12 ga NWTF 25 th anniversary edition and I updated it with the Shurshot stock set kinda stinks it's Realtree not Mossy Oak like my gun but real nice holding on target. I love this gun just put the Tru Glo gobble stopper on it and got some Long Beards to sight it in with. Did I mention I love this gun kills everything I put it on so far now upgraded let's see what she dose now when I can get to a range.

Got a lead on a guy who has an old school 11-87 in green leaf, mint condition. He wants $900 shipped. PM me for details and contact information. I was going to buy it but decided against as I have moved on to the 20 gauges and TSS.

I just paid $750 for a mint one but I'm sure your buddy could get $900 on Gunbroker. $900 is way overpriced for that gun but hey you never know.

I'd LOVE to have a greenleaf 870 or 11-87 to match my bottomland. If someone knows of one I'd like to know.

I'd love to have a longer barrel for my 11-87 2 3/4 and 3" high brass only for waterfowl. My 21" barrel is great for turkey but waterfowl I could use a longer barrel but would be hard to find a old barrel as shiny as mine inside.

I just bid 750...and didn't even crack the reserve price  :TooFunny: I guess it's too rich for my blood

I wouldn't sell mine for 750. May seem high to some but it's been said before they are getting harder to find and the price is gonna keep going up!

I put it up again with no reserve this time. guess I'll see what it'll do.

If you can find one in good shape for $750 you had probably better buy it. I wouldn't sell mine for that and the camo is dang near wore off in spots. They don't build them like they use to! My hunting buddy has a like new one looks to be un-fired and he wants $900.00. I was going to buy it and just put it up but I got into the 20 gauges.

You look hard enough and be very patient you can get some of the old Remy's from $600-$750.

Here's an 870 bottomland on gunbroker http://www.gunbroker.com/item/627739807

These things keep going for the prices I've seen lately I may be inclined to part with my Greenleaf one.

Pretty interesting bidding battle just went down on Gunbroker. Trebark 11-87 just went for $1325. Now that's getting on up there.
