I have been watching and reading all the Hevi #7 shot and it will kill at 40+ yds posts. Well I put it to the test in Tenn this week. Bird #1 dropped at 44 steps and never flopped. And #2 went down at 40 steps. I skinned both necks out and they were a total mess. I only have 4 boxes left from last year, I just hope that EM changes them back...
I shoot 3" in my 11-87 through a .660 JH choke.
I am now a Beliver :z-guntootsmiley:

I have killed two birds with them this week one was at 35 yards and the other about 40. I witnessed a buddy shoot one at 53 steps and killed him stone dead.
Shot one this morning with the hevi 13 3/2/7's at 40 yds and hammered him. Same result..allot of pellets in the head and neck and a turkey that never picked his head up again. Flopped 4-5 times and expired. Clean, quick kill as much as any bigger shot shells. Congrats on your birds!!
