5 off the 8 strikers I got from Larry Gresser have holes in the tips. Is this normal.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170201/3f5e74d397edc9114cfd363f53de1791.jpg)

I don't own any of gressers strikers but I would imagine that the holes are his way of hanging them so he can put the finish on the wood.
Do they play well? If so, id not worrying bout it. If the hole is impeding your ability to use them I'd talk to Larry about it. I've got a couple of his strikers and don't recall seeing holes in them but it's been a while so I can't say for sure. I'll look later and see for sure though.
Never seen this before.

I would not think that this would be normal. Hunter 22 what do you think.

I have a snakewood of his, just like the one in the pic. Doesn't seem to affect playability.

I have about 15 of his older strikers and none have holes in the tips. Maybe Larry has found that this helps the way they run. Ask him.
I spoke with Mr. Gresser a few years ago and as I recall it's how the wood is held or to help hold the wood as he turns his strikers now however, if possible touch base with Larry to confirm. I have a few of his older strikers without the holes in the center as well as number of his newer strikers and there's no effect with the sound.
I have some of his strikers they all have holes n the end. I never thought nothing of it as they all sound good to my ears.

Most callmakers especially of that caliber have a pretty good attention to detail. If they weren't suppose to have holes I doubt 5 would have slipped past him and with the holes in the exact same spot. Mine are the same...
yes, normal
I'm assuming that's from a live center in his lathe.

Yes the ones I received have holes in tips too. Not a big fan of that.
I turn some that are hollow all the way through 3/32 it will make the striker more raspy
