Title: Wisconsin Zones 1 and 3??
Post by: wisconsinteacher on January 31, 2017, 04:09:11 PM
I'm looking to find a place to hunt during week C of the Wisconsin season.  I see that Zones 1 and 3 have tags available.

Any thoughts on where to start looking for a place to hunt in one of these zones?

I'm not sure how far you live from those zones, but wouldn't be afraid to do some good old fashioned door knocking. Especially with teacher status!!!  :icon_thumright:

Bumping this one to the top.  I'm open to meeting up with others or helping someone find a few places to fish in NW Wisconsin for a lead on some land.

Use this for the mapping app to find some MFL or FCL land (I've found some good places on this):

Also use this to find the landowners/farmers that have received damage permits.  You can hunt their land, but have to contact them ahead of time to let you know that you will be hunting.

Should be good places to start anyway.
