Hi again just wondering which pad I need 1404? And also how does it go into stock? Thanks Rick

Do you really need one?   I was thinking the Supernova had the Comfortech recoil reduction system.

I got a limbsaver for my bennelli nova  , mine was a fist generation , I can't remember what model I got , but it was a lot softer than the original recoil pad , the newer ones may have a better pad than what I had

If I remember it had a retainer ring that inserted into the hollow stock and it screwed into that , I also have a buddy with a SBE , and he put a limbsaver on it and it did a good job of reducing recoil too, the only thing is those limb saver pads can get gummy and dirty

sounds about same setup and yes the stock pad is hard!

use one on my 870 and use the slip on it helps especially if you have arthritis and sore shoulder already you can call them or check sit they will tell you exactly what you need
