The weather has been a little shaky here in TN and I was finally able to connect this morning. The first day of season the birds were gobbling their heads off and after trying different set up's, I was only able to call in two jake's . Between the rain and wind , I decided to sit in my blind this morning. I heard 1 bird gobble on the roost and then after flydown...nothing. At 11:13 am 2 gobblers came in and one came home with me. 17 lbs, 9 " beard and 1 " spurs. Shot with my 20 gauge M2 with Hevi 13 #7's
