I'm up April 16-17-18 for a bigun.
I hope it is not me as my first season does not start until May 3rd.
I hope there are about 10 or 20 large (over 20 lbs) birds killed with 12" beards and 2" spurs
I should get my first shot at one on the 17th. If not then the 18th. Hopefully, 2 big merriams will get taken down.

IM going back out on saturday And the mostlikely tuesday too. I hope I can find a bigger one out there. But Public land gobblers are usually smaller than the one I shot. Everyone seems to shoot jakes down in San Diego. BUt I know they're out there,An old man got one last year with a 10.5 in beard with 1 spurrs last year. But that boy was deep in the mountains.
My Daughter on Saturday! I don't get to play until the 18th.
I still have 10 days to go. Had three gobblin on sat morning.

I'm sending out our scout this weekend to see what he feels about the new spot he's pushing. I really don't want to climb a shale incline in the dark or your video equipment could be smashed with you bouncing down to the bottom if you step wrong. Thursday, later in the day, I'm going to try and find away to get up the dang thing in the dark, easier, after I check out his spot in the morning. I know where the birds are there, and a good number of them. ;D His spot is an easy walk, vs my incline with over a mile walk in after. Much better at his.
I'll volunteer! :you_rock:
Season comes in this Saturday! :fud: :newmascot:

I feel the same way I start the 25th :anim_25:
I think Shane is getting tags for Kansas, so Saturday-Sunday-Monday we be looking to lay down some fatties. Weather is going to be a bit rough Thursday/Friday rain/snow, but not bad when we are hunting. My only worries is the roads with the rain. The area we are hunting is 1/2 surrounded by rivers and a lake, so heavy rainfall could lead to a long walk to get in. I didn't have to set up a blind the whole season last year, but that might change on this trip if we get heavy rain into Saturday.
That's gonna be ME! tomorrow am in Wissconni.
Yup definitely ME. I killed both Thursday and Friday. One of you Raiders play follow the leader!
