I would like opinions on the ALPS Grand Slam vest from anyone using it. Especially the magnets,do they actually hold the seat up.

Been using it for one complete season last yer. Yes, the magnets actually do hold it up.

I just bought one. Midway USA has a great price on them right now. I'm impressed with vest so far. But, admittedly, I haven't hunted with it yet. That will have to wait until spring.

The exterior material on this vest? Is it some type of fade resistant material? or cotton?
