Here's the video to the first double I ever killed.

I also want to note that if you watched the last video cove put up he mentioned later in the comments about the amount of calling he did to be the "first hen" on the ground. This video is different in that we knew where these birds wanted to go and just a series or two of some yelps and cuts was all that was needed for them to know where they needed to be going. If you're new to the sport a bit of advice; learn to know the temperature of the bird you're after and let that dictate what you do with your calls.
Great job, and great video, congrats...

Great job! Seeing vids like this sure makes me get fired up for spring :gobble:
You're right about checking the temperature. I've messed up in the past calling too aggressively and other times by probably not being aggressive enough. Nice tip man.
Tough to find any fault with that outcome... Great job!
Awesome job!!! God bkess
Another awesome video I love the dominant hen footage
 That struttin hen made the video, great action, can't wait till April !!!!!! :z-winnersmiley:
Perfect timing on the shot! :fud:
AWESOME video ! :icon_thumright:
Thanks for the kind words fellas.
I agree on the strutting hen. I've only ever seen that twice, that one in the video and another time the season before when I wasn't filming yet. Both instances was a hen acting aggressively to that same DSD hen, something about the posture of that one because it's always the one that hens go to first.
The timing was so close I've had people think one person shot them both.
Great video and awesome double
