Title: Halloran Purpleheart Cedar?
Post by: jordanz7935 on January 14, 2017, 01:48:02 PM
Looking to put my christmas $$ to good use on a new box call. Ive been eyeing Davids purpleheart/cedar shortbox. Ive heard nothing but good on all Davids calls and my crystal mistress has been the death of quite a few birds since ive owned it. Just looking for feedback from you guys on a shortbox that is pure turkey. Im not much of a boxcall guy but i do have a beautiful Turpin style hen box that i hunt with but im looking for something a little more compact for the days i put alot of miles on. I found this video on youtube and this call sounds SWEET to my ears.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=video&cd=6&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiw0Of9pcLRAhVhL8AKHU_rAcAQuAIILTAF&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D6wTGJ5laXnc&usg=AFQjCNFphdhTZ_hpJs0LnLmlkGtxMPzzqA

That box is really good, super easy to run. Don't overlook SS as well.

I have one as well and it is the sweetest, easiest running box I've ever heard! Get one! You won't be disappointed!

I need to get me one of David's boxes

I've thought about trying to trade for one, trying to be good on nit spending too much money on calls this year and just getting tags for as many states as I can swing

Thanks for the replies guys! I ordered it today, he said it should be here in 2-3 weeks! Can't wait to get it and bring it to the woods this spring!
