Will the trs 25 mount to any weaver style scope bas or does it require something else. Also if I need a pica tinny rail that mounts to a standard weaver base for a Mossberg which one do I get and where do I get it?
The trs 25 will mount directly to the standard weaver style base for a Mossberg. I have this setup on my model 500.
Looks good. Does it stick out over the rear of the base some? I couldn't tell for sure in the picture.
No it doesn't hang over any it's flush with the rear of the base.
Mine came in the mail today. Easiest optic I ever mounted. Put it on a Mossberg 500 Bantam 20 I wasn't using to see how I like both but will probably end up on one of my single shots. Is that a 12 gauge in the picture and if so how has the TRS 25 has held up to recoil?
It's a 12 gauge. I've only shot it around 20 or so times but so far I haven't had any problems with my poi shifting or anything like that.
