Title: Looking for a H&R.
Post by: Dirtybird552 on January 09, 2017, 10:00:16 PM
I'm looking for one of the old school H&r 3 1/2 12 ga's that was camo. I've been looking everywhere and can't find one. If anyone knows where ones at, runs across one, or has one to get rid of I would be very interested. This is what I'm looking for. Best of luck to you. I bought one new 20 years ago, then after trying (suffering is more like it) the 3.5" rounds I sold it for a Mossberg 500 the following season.  That Mossberg never shot straight out of the box unfortunately.

Regretted that decision.  Fast forward 15 years and I got lucky - found one just like it on gunbroker and paid the buy it now price of $90 the second I spotted it.  I had SumToy drill and tap the barrel last year for fiber optic sights, and it is a dream to carry.  this gun dropped it's first gobbler last spring too. Paired it with a JH .660 and HTL #7 in the 3" shell.

I wish you luck dirtybird!  Hope you find one like I did.  Its a great gun, and a cool original MO Bottomland factory dip.

I have a plain topper that was factory tapped for chokes that I've carried for a couple of years now and it's a awesome turkey gun. Ive just always wanted one of the old camo ones.
