It wasn't hard to me at all....just learning not to apply a lot of pressure on the disc with the striker and applying the pressure to the striker itself to control the vibration is key. I had it down in a day and it makes some great kee Kees. I would keep it but have acquired another and this one will not be used and is praticly brand new. Hope that answered ur question some.
