Just sold for $780 on Gunbroker. :z-guntootsmiley:
I can't believe people pay that much for'em.
I think they are kool. I also really like the old trebark Remington's. Every time i ever spot one they seem to be well used and missing alot of paint. I'd like to find one that someone hasn't fallen in love with and was barely used.
1tagobblergetter, got a 1992 like new 870 Wingmaster been dipped in Mossy Oak Bottomland...got probably over $700 in it with synthetic stock replacement, then dipped, choke, sight....adds up. But they don't make like that anymore.
That's just crazy prices, after all it's still just a pump shotgun with a fancy camo job! If I was in the market for one, I'd build my own, that way you can be the one to wear it out!

I've always wanted a mint condition 870 greenleaf to replace one that was in the family, but I refuse to pay these silly prices. I've had plenty of offers on here on greenleaf and trebark 870's and 1187's but good grief I could have a nice new waterfowl gun or other stuff for that price. Most of them are safe queens anywho, these guys buy up 6-8-10 of different old school patterns and never use them, just have them to say they do and gloat on the boards.
I have one I bought new. Would love to find the matching 1187.

Be prepared to fork over about 800 bucks.
I tried to sell mine for $500.00 plus shipping. I guess I should put it on gunbroker

If its mint or near mint with almost no wear, buy it and flip it on gun broker for about 800 bucks.
Sent a p.m. on the m.o.g.l.
There's another one on there if anyone is interested.

That gun will go for 650+, its nothing but a bucket list gun for me. I'll never own one at that price.
Wow some sap payed 705 + shipping and FFL transfer fees for that greenleaf 870 lol
I wanted that thing ,but not that bad. It'll be a 770$ gun once fees and ffl for delivery are paid.
Beretta Outlander gets you allot more for your money. The old 870's we have we payed $200-250 for them. The older barrels are much better patterning than the new ones I have found but paying that much for basically the old camo pattern doesn't make any sense. You can buy an older 870 and have it dipped in original bottomland and come out 3-4 hundred dollars cheaper.

I waterfowl hunt with an outlander A350 and A300, they are amazing shotguns for the money and can be had for the same price or cheaper than what that 870 went for! William made a choke for the A300 and it will toss just as good if not better pattern than my current 870.
I have 2 in original bottomland, and both came from pawnshops for $300 and $275.

Yep lol! Neither is for sale I should've added. :toothy9:
Just missed one online today in the g.l. pattern sold for less than $300. Did show a little bit of wear.
