Title: Attaching pictures for glass calls
Post by: Premier Turkey Calls on December 14, 2016, 10:25:56 PM
When attaching pictures in glass calls do you attach it to the call surfaces bottom or the top of the soundboard? What adhesive do you use? How do you waterproof the picture?

For me, I use a 3M spray adhesive on the picture and attach to the top of the soundboard. I do not waterproof anything, hoping the customer doesn't use the call as an anchor :TooFunny:

Heres another option for ya.    I did this one recently.  glued the picture to a thin piece of alumn.  Then glued it into the recessed area of the back side of the call.   Then filled in with Bar Coat resin.   Waterproof!  This allows you to use a slate surface and have a pic on the call.
