I just finished "Rambling Outdoors" by Lloyd "Barney" Barnhart. If you enjoy being taken back in time to a simpler life, you'll enjoy this book.

Barney is a native of Upstate New York but his stories could be from any part of the country. All about the outdoors, family and friends, they reminded me of home.

It is indeed. He has a way with words that really takes you to the place he describes.
