Maybe this isn't the right forum, but I figured no one would kick up a fuss if I put it here.
I am going to use some breast meat from a fall hen to make some turkey jerky and I wanted to know if anyone has done this. My plan is to marinate the strips in a light seasoned marinade (little white wine, little honey, garlic, some herbs) and make some jerky.
Anyone ever done this?
I've made lots of jerky from turkey breast. When my daughters were home they insisted on at least one breast went into jerky.
