prettiest woods I've ever turned. I picked up some Pernambuco a few weeks back and turned two slate calls out of it. This stuff turns and finishes like a dream and has some of the best color I've seen in any of the woods I have turned. Slates are 3 1/4 & 3 1/2 over glass with the smaller sounding more like a glass call and the bigger having mature hen both with good rasp. Also did a pair of osage pots in 3 1/2. One slate the other is my old deadly double. Thanx for the look. Those are some beauties Bill. I love your calls and strikers. None better IMO.

Thanx guys. The pics really don't show how nice the color is in this wood. I liked it so much I had to order more.
