Nice shot.
That will raise your enthusiasm for hunting deer again after a dry spell.
This is the time to be in the woods, and the rut period is the most fun of deer hunting. Even if you don't see a shooter, you can have a lot of fun just watching lesser bucks and does.
I was in N. GA this morning about 50 mile NW of Atlanta and saw a nice buck chasing a doe.
In what region of GA did you shoot him?

I shot him in Soperton GA, Truetlen county. Down near Swainsboro and Vidalia. Tarsals were black and oily. Chasing just started down there in the last week. The cold snap got them moving.
Thanks for all the compliments! I am truly grateful to God who blessed me with such an opportunity.
Nice one to break a dry spell with! Congrats
